This original version is now discontinued. It has been superseded by a new design, an evolution of the original. Our new improved designs incorporate many of our new ideas, new technologies and new processes coupled with your suggestions and appreciated inputs.

We do have limited stock of the same design in lightweight 6061 alloy like this original design in anodised Black or Red however these lightweight items have a reduced maximum torque rating of 2Nm and are on sale until they run out (link below):

Assembly / Installation:

• Prototipo Works strongly recommends the use of a lithium based anti seize assembly lubricant during the installation of our hardware. An anti seize assembly lubricant helps prevent seizing, galling, cold-welding, and the fusing of metal on metal threaded components. Ideal for salty environments, humid environments, in the presence of water, moisture, sweat and ingress.

• Please ensure all mating threads and installation tools are the correct size, are clean, free of damaging burrs and inserted straight. These special lightweight bolts are for light load duties only!

• Maximum Torque 3-5Nm. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
